Volume of international freight handled at airports in Iceland 2009-2021, by type
The amount of international air cargo handled at airports in Iceland fluctuated between 2009 and 2021. Since 2010, the amount of international cargo handled at the surveyed airports increased gradually and reached approximately 57,000 metric tons in 2018. As of 2021, the volume of international cargo was 58,498 metric tons, and the mail volume was 1,085 tons after experiencing a decrease in the last two years.
