This statistic shows the expected percentage change in popularity of selected travel destinations types among Italians aged 18-65 between 2016 and 2017. While the popularity of cultural attractions and cities as travel destinations decreased, seaside tourism is expected to become more popular by nine percent in 2017. According to the study, the number of Italian tourists going on tours, cruises and nature holidays is going to increase by 28 percent from 2016.
