Volume of food wasted by consumers in Norway 2010-2015
This statistic shows the volume of food wasted by consumers in Norway from 2010 to 2015. During this period, the amount of food wasted by Norwegian consumers decreased annually. In 2010, an average Norwegian threw away 230 thousand metric tons of food. Until 2013, the amount reduced to a volume of roughly 223 thousand metric tons. In 2015, the volume of wasted food by the population of Norway amounted to approximately 218 thousand metric tons.
