Italy: demographic dynamics in South Tyrol 2016

Demographic dynamics in the Italian region of South Tyrol in 2016

by Statista Research Department, last edited Jan 10, 2018
Italy: demographic dynamics in South Tyrol 2016 The statistic shows the demographic dynamics in the Italian region of South Tyrol in 2016. According to the figure, the autonomous province faced a positive trend in 2016, with the resident population increasing by over three thousand units. The result is not due to the natural balance (difference between births and deaths), as it can be seen that it resulted in a deficit for around one thousand individuals. On the other hand, the immigration from other municipalities of almost 12.8 thousand individuals had been enough to save the balance of those migrating to other municipalities (around 11.6 thousands).
