Italy: public opinion towards Americans 2002-2017 The statistic shows the public opinion among Italians towards Americans from 2002 to 2017. According to the survey, in 2017 more than two third of respondents had a favorable opinion of Americans. However, the share of individuals having a favorable opinion towards the American population was much higher in 2013, when it reached 72 percent of respondents.
