This statistic shows the results of a 2017 survey in which female respondents in the United Kingdom (UK) were asked which criteria they use when buying face care products, broken down by age group. For both 18 to 29 year olds and those aged 60 and over the most important factor when buying face care is the quality of products, with 46 and 55 percent of respondents, respectively, using this as a criteria for their purchases. In contrast, 46 percent of 30 to 59 year olds said that they base their face care buying decisions on the value for money, making this the most important criteria for the middle age group.
