As of the first month in 2022, at least eight out of ten people living in Chile, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, Uruguay, Argentina, Barbados, St. Kitts and Nevis, and Costa Rica were online. Meanwhile, less than half of the population in Belize, Nicaragua, Guyana, and Haiti had access to the internet. The regional average stood at 68.8 percent.
