Share of museums and galleries in Italy 2018, by macro-region

The statistic shows the share of museums and galleries in Italy by macro-region, compared to a series of selected cultural facilities (museums and galleries, archeological parks and areas, monuments and monumental complexes, facilities of ecomuseums networks). As of 2018, the North-East registered the highest share. In fact, museums and galleries accounted for 86.1 percent of all selected cultural facilities in this Italian macro-region in 2018.
