Italy: psychoactive drug use among teenagers by gender Italy 2016

This statistic illustrates the share of Italian teenagers aged between 15 and 19 who had used psychoactive drugs in 2016, broken down by gender. According to the study results, more than one in five female teenagers had used psychoactive drugs at least once, compared to less than one in eight among male teenagers. Overall, girls were almost twice as likely as male teenagers to be users of psychoactive substances.
