Mexico: attendance at domestic movies 2010-2023

In 2023, around 9.3 million people in Mexico watched films made in that North American country, up from 6.4 million in the previous year, but far from the 35.2 million viewers in 2019, in the pre-pandemic year. Meanwhile, the overall number of films released in Mexico also grew compared to 2020, by almost 90 percent.
