New life insurance business in Germany 2014-2022, by channel
In 2022, the largest share of new life insurance business in Germany came through the distribution channel of single-tied or insurance group intermediaries. This was the most popular distribution channel at the time, with a total of 39.2 percent of new business coming through the channel. This was followed by the 34.5 percent of new business that came through the brokers and multiple agents distribution channel.
