This statistic illustrates a comparison between the number of people per 100 residents who went on a trip at least once among the Italian population in 2008 and 2013. According to the survey results, the share of Italian holiday makers decreased by almost ten percent points in the selected period, falling from 28.7 percent in 2008 to 19.2 percent in 2013, arguably as a consequence of the economic crisis.
