Young adults belief that beef consumption is a personal choice in Indian states 2016
This statistic displays the results of a youth survey conducted among 15-34 year olds across 19 states across India in 2016 about their objections of beef consumption, broken down by state. A majority of respondents in the southern state of Kerala, with about 88 percent, believed that the consumption of beef was a personal choice and should not be objected to. This share was only about four percent in the northern state of Chhattisgarh during the survey period.
