At the end of fiscal year 2020, the import volume of cement into India from United Arab Emirates stood at around 691 thousand metric tons. The total import volume of cement into the south Asian country was around 2.2 million metric tons that year. In 2020, India was the second largest producer of cement, with a share of about eight percent in the world output.
