This statistic displays the results of a youth survey conducted among 15-34 year olds in 19 states across India in 2016 about the share of young adults who opposed Other Backward Class (OBC) reservations in jobs. The largest share of respondents who opposed reservations belonged to the Hindu upper caste, amounting to about 48 percent during the survey period.
