This statistic displays the perceived influence of the Canal Parade on the acceptance of homosexuality in the Netherlands in 2017. When asked whether they believe the Canal Parade mainly has a positive or a negative influence on the acceptance of gays in the Netherlands, approximately 15 percent of all respondents to this survey said they believe it mainly has a positive influence. Of the respondents who identified as LHBTI this was 20 percent.
