Frequency in social media usage in Italy 2017, by platform
This statistic illustrates the frequency of social media usage among the Italian population in 2017, broken down by social media platform. According to the study results, the most popular social media site in Italy was Facebook: one in two respondents were active on it every day, while only 8 percent of respondents would use it once a week. By contrast, the share of respondents using YouTube once a week (26 percent) was similar to the share of respondents using it daily (29 percent).
