Mexico was the Latin American country that registered the largest internal consumption of travel and tourism in 2019, with over 172 billion U.S. dollars. It was followed by Brazil, with a tourism consumption within the country worth 97.11 billion U.S. dollars. Argentina, Chile, and Peru complete the top five Latin American countries with highest tourism consumption that year.
