Italy: preferences concerning holiday types in 2016
This statistic illustrates the favorite holiday types among the Italian population aged 15 and older in 2016. According to the survey results, one in two respondents preferred a relaxing holiday over an active one. By contrast, a similar share of respondents (45 percent) preferred to discover new places and engage in a range of different activities while on holiday as opposed to relaxing all day.
