Wholesale sales turnover of organic eggs to food service in Norway 2012-2023
During the period from 2012 to 2019, the sales turnover of the wholesale of organic eggs to food service businesses increased in Norway. In 2012, it amounted to 2.7 million Norwegian kroner. In 2019, wholesalers sold organic eggs to food service businesses, such as hotels, restaurants and caterings, with a value of almost 19 million Norwegian kroner. As of 2022, the sales turnover decreased to nearly 13 million Norwegian kroner. Since 2023, the source only shows figures for the “eggs and meat” category. That year, it amounted to just over 19 million Norwegian kroner.
