It shows that between 2012 and 2014, the vast majority of the coupons exchanged in Belgium were food coupons. In the period surveyed, the share of food coupons increased to 75 percent in 2012 to 77 percent in 2014. Couponing is really popular in Belgium: in 2014 Belgians per capita exchanged nearly 6.5 coupon. In comparison: in France this was 5.4 coupon, and in Germany and the Netherlands 0.44 and 0.08 coupon per head per year respectively.
