According to the survey, 79 percent of respondents aged 18 to 34 years had heard of bronchitis, compared to 92 percent of respondents aged 65 and older. Bronchitis is a lung condition in which the airways of the lungs swell and produce mucus and is caused by viral or bacterial pathogens.
