Annual rental apartment yields for cities in Western Europe as of 2016 This statistic illustrates the annual rental yields on residential property for the Western European cities as of 2016. It can be seen that Odense, in Denmark, had the largest annual rental yield at that time, with a return of 8.9 percent at that time. Copenhagen and Aarhus, both also in Denmark, completed the top three, with annual rental yields of 7.7 percent and 6.8 percent respectively as of 2016. At that time, among the DACH region countries, Berlin saw the largest annual rental return on the residential property market, and among Eastern European countries, Budapest led the ranking.
