Number of persons entitled to vote in the Norwegian parliamentary elections 1945-2017 This statistic shows the number of persons entitled to vote in the Norwegian parliamentary elections from 1945 to 2017. Over the years, the number of persons entitled to vote in Norway increased. In 1945 when the first parliamentary elections after the German occupation took part, the number of entitled voters amounted roughly two million. In 2017, there were 3.77 million people entitled to vote in the Norwegian parliamentary elections. Norwegian Parliament (Stortinget) is elected every four years. The next parliamentary election is set for September 2021.
