Italy: non-readers 2010-2016 by type of cultural consumption
This statistic represents the share of non-readers in Italy in 2010 and 2016, by type of cultural consumption. According to the study results, the share of people who had read no books in the previous year increased by almost seven percent points among participants in cultural events. The share of non-readers also increased among readers of newspapers and people who owned more than 200 books at home.
