Hotel bed occupancy rate in Spain in 2020, by category
In Spain, the overall bed occupancy rate in hotels in 2020 dropped to less than 40 percent. Hostels rated with two or three stars registered the lowest occupancy, with approximately 26 percent. By contrast, four-star hotels had the highest bed occupancy that year.
