The graph shows that overall the ratio of house prices to household income has risen steadily quarter to quarter with the exception of the 3rd quarter of 2012. House prices in the United Kingdom have gone from 3.76 times the national household income in the first quarter of 2012 to 4.54 by the forth quarter of 2016. This is a rise of 0.76 of the average households income in four years. House prices to income ratio in Great Britain also rose between 2013 to 2017.
