This statistic shows the average retail price per kilogram of fresh chicken in Spain in 2019, by distribution channel and in euros. The distribution channel with the highest average retail price for fresh chicken this year was traditional grocery stores, where Spaniards could purchase meat at an average price of 4.48 euros per kilo. E-commerce channels followed close behind, with the average price for this type of product at 4.40 euros per kilogram. In addition, fresh chicken consumption has also been analyzed by annual household expenditure.
