Number of reunited family members divided by the Korean War 2002-2019

No one from families separated during the Korean War in 1950-1953 were reunited in 2019. Due to the ongoing war between North Korea and South Korea, which was only suspended with an armistice and not a true peace treaty, it is impossible for family members to simply meet each other. Past reunions were organized at the government level.
