According to the study results, the most popular Italian regions among British tourists were Lazio and Veneto, with over half a million arrivals in 2015. Lombardy and Tuscany were the third and fourth most visited regions, respectively. By contrast, there were only one thousand tourist arrivals from the UK in Molise.
