Research and development domestic spending in the French chemical industry 2009-2013 This graph displays domestic expenditures in research and development in the chemical industry in France, between 2009 and 2013. It shows that domestic spending amounted to approximately 1.8 billion euros in 2013. In 2010, this number didn't reach 1.5 billion euros. In 2016, the pharmaceutical company Sanofi had spent 17 percent of their revenue on research and development.
