This statistic illustrates the average share of people who used to travel at least once during weekdays in Italy in 2017, broken down by macro-region. As of the survey period, the highest percentage of weekday travelers was registered in the northern and central part of Italy (around 89 percent of the respondents). In the South and the Islands, the share of people traveling for on the average weekday was slightly lower, about 87 percent.
