France's gross renewable energy consumption
This statistic shows France's projected gross inland consumption of renewable energy forms, from 2015 to 2050. The projections form, part of the EU Reference Scenario 2016, is providing a framework by which energy and environment policy can be assessed.
The gross amount of inland consumption of renewable energy of France increases significantly over this period, and would reach a consumption of 51,618 metric kilotons of oil equivalent by 2050. According to the European Commission, hydro-energy gross inland consumption will reach 6,700 ktoe in 2020.
