Customer satisfaction on public transport smartcard in the Netherlands 2015-2017 The statistic displays the customer satisfaction on the use of public transport smartcards during travel in the Netherlands from 2015 and 2017. Approximately 85 percent of the respondents were satisfied with the smartcard, the so-called the OV Chipkaart in Dutch, for travelling purposes. This is slightly more than in 2016. The company that organizes and maintain the railway constructions in the Netherlands is ProRail. The annual revenue of ProRail in 2016 amounted to approximately 1.2 billlion euros, roughly 55 million euros more than in 2015.
