Opinion on the legality of stream-ripping services in the UK 2016
This statistic shows the results of a survey on the attitude towards the legality of stream-ripping services in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2016. The survey found that nearly a quarter of respondents who had used stream-ripping services, i.e. apps, plugins, websites or specific software to download and create offline files from music or video streaming destinations such as Spotify or YouTube, believed that services such as these will have the necessary rights and permissions to allow downloads or ripping of content in this way.
