This statistic shows the results of a survey on the attitude towards the morality of using stream-ripping services in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2016. The survey found that a quarter of respondents who had used stream-ripping services, i.e. apps, plugins, websites or specific software to download and create offline files from music or video streaming destinations such as Spotify or YouTube, felt that it was wrong to download content through stream-ripping services without the creators/artists permission.
