U.S. consumers who think women wear makeup to hide unattractiveness 2017, by age This statistic shows the share of consumers in the United States who agree that women mainly wear makeup in order to trick people into thinking they are more attractive, as of April 2017, by age. During the survey, 25 percent of respondents aged between 18 and 34 years said that they strongly agreed that women mainly wear makeup in order to trick people, as opposed to 16 percent of respondents aged 55 years and older.
