Average weekly time spent with TV news in U.S. LPM markets 2017, by source The graph shows the average weekly time spent watching TV news per person in selected local people meter (LPM) markets in the United States as of the first quarter of 2017, by source. It was found, that Pittsburgh was the leading LPM market in terms of TV news consumption, as the average weekly per person news minutes in the city amounted to 467 (7 hours and 47 minutes) in the measured period. Out of this, 203 news minutes were attributed to local TV news.
