GPA's business units include the following chains of super/hypermarkets and convenience stores: Extra, Pão de Açúcar, Assaí, Minuto Pão de Açúcar, Minimercado Extra and Aliados Compre Bem. In 2018, GPA was ranked second among the leading Brazilian supermarkets based on annual gross revenue.
