Latin America: YouTube user share 2018, by gender

During a survey conducted from June to August 2018, over 39 percent of male respondents from 18 Latin American countries stated they used YouTube. Meanwhile, nearly 34 percent of female interviewees claimed to use that platform.

Overall, more than 28 percent of people in the region recently said they do not use any social network.

The survey was carried out in 18 countries of the region (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela). In each of the countries the number of respondents amounted to between 1,000 and 1,200. The samples were representative for the population of each of the countries.
