Parents reading to their child in the United Kingdom (UK) 2017 This survey represents the percentages of parents reading to their child in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2017. Total of 71 percent of respondents state that they currently read to their child. Amongst the parents of children aged two to five, 95 percent say that they read to their child. Amongst the parents of children aged 12 to 16, 80 percent claim that they used to read to their child, however, do not do so anymore.
