Italy: municipalities with highest tourist tax revenue 2016
This statistic shows the top 16 Italian municipalities with the highest revenues from tourist tax on hotels, bed and breakfasts and campsites in 2016. According to the study, Rome was the Italian city that collected the highest revenue from the tourist tax (over 126 million euro). This was three times as much as the tourist tax revenue in Milan (41 million euro) and four times the figure for Florence (30 million euro).
