Breakdown of EDF electricity production in France 2019-2022, by source of energy
In 2022, nuclear power accounted for 86.5 percent of EDF's electricity production in France, down from over 87 percent the year prior. Hydropower and thermal energy accounted for the remaining shares. While hydroelectricity production was constant in 2021 and 2022, thermal electricity production showed an increase by one percentage point between these two years.
