Outbound tourist departures from Chile 2010-2021, by type of visitor
In 2021, Chile registered only around six thousand departures of same-day travelers to other countries and approximately half a million departures of overnight tourists with international destinations. In total, there were around 520 million outbound visitor departures from the South American country that year, which represents a decrease of 55.3 percent in relation to the previous year.
