Household health care expenditure in Spain 2021, by type of product or service
In 2021, the average household health care expenditure on therapeutic appliances and equipment in Spain amounted to approximately 427 euros, the highest among other health care products or services. Pharmaceutical products followed, with an average expenditure per household of about 259 euros. Meanwhile, health care spending on medical and hospital services reached over 64 euros per person in the country that year.
