In 2018, foreign exchange outflows from Chilean tourists reached nearly three billion U.S. dollars, out of which tourism expenditures account for more than 2.3 billion U.S. dollars. Meanwhile, foreign exchange outflows from international transport amounted to 646.2 million U.S. dollars.
