As of December 31st 2021, the installed electricity generation capacity of ENGIE was dominated by natural gas, which accounted for nearly 50 percent of the company's electricity generation capacity. Solar power on the other hand represented 4.18 percent of ENGIE's global operational electricity generation capacity at that time.
