Paperboard shipment volume Japan 2012-2021
In 2021, the shipment volume of paperboard in Japan amounted to around 12.2 million metric tons, surpassing the previous high-point of the past ten years from 2018 at around 12.1 million tons. Despite the momentary dip in the prior two years, shipment volumes seem to be steadily increasing with each year. Japan was one of the leading paper manufacturers in the world.
