Denmark: air passenger transport performance 2022

While passenger transport performance by air for international flights steadily grew in recent years, the performance for domestic air transport fluctuated in the same period. The international transport performance was higher in all years, amounting to over 55 billion passenger-kilometers as of 2019. By comparison, the national transport performance was 324 million passenger-kilometers that year. In 2020, the overall transportation performance experienced a drastic decline as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the following years, figures started increasing again and stood at 270 million and 41.7 billion passenger-kilometers in 2022 for national and international transport performance, respectively.
