French spending adjustments due to inflation in France 2023, by type
In September 2023, one quarter of the French respondents declared they reduced a lot their food expenses because of rising prices. They were 46 percent of them who also declared they reduced their leisure expenses. Finally, almost one respondent out of two declared they reduced their everyday goods expenses such as clothing, because of rising prices.
